Strong Arm Robbery
1360 S. Foothill Dr.

A male suspect forcibly took a purse from an 82-year-old woman in the Dan’s Food underground parking garage. The woman and her husband were walking to the elevators when a red Honda Civic stopped in front of them. The passenger exited the vehicle, ran up to the victim and ripped her purse out of her hands. The suspects fled in the Honda Civic, which had been previously stolen from the Gateway Mall. The victim’s purse was later located at Fairmont Park. The suspect who exited the car was described as a male Hispanic in his mid 20s, with an average build and with black hair. The driver was described as a white male with a shaved head and a darker complexion.

1300 S. Foothill Dr.

A 44-year-old woman was walking in the area when she was saw three men exit a Jeep Liberty and quickly approach her. The woman turned and ran towards an apartment complex, but was pulled to the ground by one of the suspects who took her bag. All three of the suspects fled in the Jeep Liberty. The initial investigation does not suggest these are the same suspects from the earlier robbery at Dan’s Foods.
