An officer observed a vehicle pass him that was being driven by a suspect from a shoplift case the day before. When the officer stopped the vehicle the driver fled on foot. Other officers in the area located and arrested Demetrius Posey (5/24/1976) and booked him into jail for fleeing, warrants and shoplifting.
