Aaron Fritz (7/27/86) struck an 11-year-old child on the face and strangled her, causing a loss of consciousness, because the child was fighting with her younger siblings. Fritz and his girlfriend were tending the children for another relative when the abuse occurred. The child was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Fritz was booked into jail on charges of felony child abuse.
1500 S. State St.
A 56-year-old man was struck by a vehicle as he crossed State Street in the crosswalk, against a red light. The man, who had a strong odor of alcohol, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
