1241 Home Burglary 1232 S. 1500 E. 12-156702
A nanny works at this residence caring for the children. She heard a noise in the house and at first thought it was the homeowner coming home unannounced. She checked on the noise and surprised a burglar in the master bedroom. The suspect ran out the back door, dropping a jewelry box in the yard, and jumped over the back fence. He possibly drove away from the area in a blue Toyota Celica with a female accomplice. The suspect is described as a white male, 25 years of age, 5’9” tall, medium build, with a black jersey and black baseball cap.

The Narcotics Unit served a warrant. Methamphetamine, paraphernalia, scales and packaging were seized. Steve Leas (11/23/69) was booked for intent to distribute Meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
