In Memoriam: Officer Percy Clark
 

October 3, 2012 — The Salt Lake City Police Department tomorrow morning will dedicate a plaque in memory of an officer killed in the line of duty 39 years ago.

The bronze marker honors the sacrifice of Fallen Officer Percy Clark, who was shot and killed during an armed robbery January 11, 1973.

Sponsored by the late-Brian Barnard, it is the fifth memorial plaque installed by the Salt Lake City Police History Project to date. The Police Department extends its appreciation to Kathie Chadbourne of Third Avenue Bistro, who helped the police department secure permission to install the plaque.
