January 5, 2013Medical Examiner to determine manner, cause of death
January 4, 2013 — After responding to a welfare check request, the Salt Lake City Police Department this afternoon found two men deceased in a Salt Lake City residence.
A hospice worker last checked on the men Wednesday. After no response to phone contact today, the caregiver requested police assistance at approximately 10:15 a.m. Shortly thereafter, Police and Fire arrived at 1011 S. 400 E. and attempted contact. With no response they forced entry and found the two men deceased.
The Medical Examiner has custody of the bodies and will determine the cause and manner of death. The men’s names will be released once family members have been notified.
