A 27-year-old female, who had just dropped off her children at school, was walking home when a male attempted to force her into his vehicle. Previously the male tried to entice the female from his car. When the female ignored him, the suspect exited the car, grabbed the victim by the arm and attempted to pull her into the vehicle. The victim resisted and the male fled. The suspect is described as Polynesian, 18-21 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a heavy muscular build. The suspect wore a white T-shirt with green stripes and a blue baseball cap.

Police were called to the Multi-Ethnic Senior Citizen Housing Center on a graffiti vandalism that just occurred. A responding K-9 officer saw Joey Kirk (1/18/91) leaving the area and attempted to contact him. Kirk fled from the officer, who successfully deployed his canine. Officers took Kirk into custody and he was transported to a local hospital to be evaluated for a dog bite to the arm. After Kirk was released from the hospital, officers booked him into jail on charges of vandalism and fleeing from an officer.
