424 S. Douglas St.
An officer was patrolling the area when he observed three subjects — two men and one woman — running down the street. A man then approached the officer and stated that the three individuals had tried to steal his motorcycle. Officers chased the suspects and stopped a female as the men ran into the block. K-9 officers responded and located one of the suspects on the front porch of a residence. The K-9 bit that suspect, who was treated on scene for the injury. The female, a juvenile, was cited for criminal mischief and possession of alcohol by a minor. Brian Powell (3/27/93) was booked into jail for possession of alcohol by a minor, criminal mischief and fleeing from a police officer.
