A 64-year-old man received a letter demanding he deliver $10,000 by a certain time. Arrangements were made to drop off the money in Salt Lake County. When the suspect arrived at the appointed place and time, officers took Kenny McClellan (3/3/1988) into custody without incident and charged him with felony extortion.

A 52-year-old man received minor cuts to his arm when he attempted to take alcohol away from his wife. He was checked by SLC Fire and released on scene. Officers arrested Michelle Dillman (4/24/64) on charges of domestic aggravated assault, interfering with a communication device, and domestic violence in the presence of a child.

Officers responded to the above area on a possible stabbing. While en route, they received information that the victim was running northbound on 500 West. Officers conducted a search of the area and located a large pool of blood near 185 S. 500 W. (Rocky Mountain Power Plant). After SLC Fire personnel cut the bolt to the plant’s fence, officers searched the grounds and found a 22-year-old man with stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital in serious condition. Due to a lack of information from the victim and witnesses, there is no suspect information at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
