Emily Martinez, 26, and a 24-year-old man gained access to the Walker Center and climbed to the roof. The man indicated that he lost sight of Emily at some point and couldn’t find her. He re-traced his steps and eventually discovered her on the ground in an inner courtyard. It appears that Emily fell from the building and died from her injuries. Due to the unusual circumstances surrounding the event, detectives were called out and are currently investigating the incident as a suspicious death. This event serves as a tragic reminder of the danger of climbing buildings, which is against the law and extremely dangerous.
