2150 S. Highland Dr.
A 27-year old male reported that he was robbed and assaulted by two men. The suspects fled towards Fairmont Park. Suspect #1 is described as a male Hispanic, 30 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, slim build, short black hair. Suspect #2 is described as a male Indian adult, 18-25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 220 pounds, with a ponytail. The victim sustained minor injuries.
Aggravated assault/Domestic violence
500 North G St.
Officers responded to a residence and found lacerations on both the male and female. Their injuries were tended to and upon investigation both were arrested. Joseph Sloat (7/25/73) and Viteria Cox (9/11/87) were booked for domestic violence aggravated assault.
Possession with intent to distribute
550 W. 200 S.
Officers were investigating reports of an active drug dealer in the area. As officers closed in the suspect pulled out a handgun, throwing it into the street, and then became combative with officers. Edward David Lucero (8/17/66) was booked for possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and failure to stop at the command of a peace officer.
