An officer was driving by the shelter area when he noticed two men fighting in the street. The officer activated his siren to break up the fight. One man fled south on 500 West. The other man, 35, was stabbed twice in the torso. The suspect is described as a male Hispanic adult, 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall, wearing black jeans and a white shirt or white jacket. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

A bleeding man, 27, walked into the shelter. He stated he had been in a fight and felt something stick him. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
130 E. 2nd Ave.
Two brothers got into a fight. One of them cut the other with a knife. Jeremy Aus (1/11/71) was booked for aggravated assault. The 44-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
