Compiled by Watch Commanders in the field, the Watch Log is a summary of events they felt stood out in the last 24-hour period. Officers attempted to make contact with a person for a minor violation when he fled. Following a short foot pursuit and subsequent investigation officers found the suspect to be in possession of and had been selling drugs. Keith Jerome Lewis (4/18/67) was booked for distribution of a controlled substance and fleeing.
Two men made contact with an acquaintance to buy drugs. As one of the men pulled out his wallet to pay for the drugs he was assaulted and robbed at knifepoint by the acquaintance and two others. Later, police located one of the suspects, still in possession of the victim’s ID. Kenneth Bowman (7/5/86) was booked into jail for aggravated robbery, possession of a controlled substance, and several outstanding warrants. The other two robbery suspects are still outstanding.
