2240 S. Lake St.
A passenger vehicle stopped for the stop sign at a Trax streetcar crossing. The vehicle then proceeded into the crossing and was struck by a westbound streetcar. No injuries to any of the involved parties.
1600 W. North Temple St.
An officer responded to a business burglary and gathered suspect information. A short time later he was able to locate the suspect in the area of the shelter. Barry McDowell (11/29/62) was booked on burglary, criminal mischief, retail theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, and warrants.
