Bike theft operation

Due to a recent rise of bike thefts in the downtown area officers conducted a bicycle theft sting operation. As suspects attempted to steal a bait bike they were arrested. Larry Jones (8/25/57), Odell Butterfield (12/10/64), and Andrew Hummel (1/12/71) were all booked on theft charges and warrants.

Wanted person

Gang detectives were in the area looking for a wanted person. As they approached an apartment complex someone fled from them into a nearby apartment. At that apartment officers detected a strong odor of marijuana. Several persons were arrested including two male juveniles. Wanted person David Acosta (7/10/95) was booked on warrants. Oscar Rodriguez (8/7/93) was booked on warrants and a drug charge. A handgun and various drugs were seized.
