Aggravated assault, damaged property, arrest
300 S. 900 E.
Officers were dispatched to the above area on male suspect that was a danger to himself and others. The suspect had damaged property in the area prior to officers arriving. The male suspect returned to find officers at his residence. He had a pocket knife in each hand when confronted by officers, but was taken into custody after a taser deployment had been initiated. Michael Lawrence Smith (2/22/73) was booked into jail for interfering with officer, use of a weapon in a fight, criminal mischief, and resisting officer.

A patrol officer was in the shelter area when he spotted two aggravated assault suspects that were wanted from a case that occurred Feb. 24, 2014. The two suspects were safely taken into custody and after the investigation they were booked into jail. Priscilla Alires (01/30/1989) and Enrique Perez (09/28/88) were charged with aggravated assault, assault by prisoner, and retail theft felony-2 prior convictions.
