Officers responded to the above location on a possible burglary-in-progress call. The suspect was eventually located hiding in the building in the rafters. Officers booked Jace Daniel Painter (1/9/80) on burglary charges.
805 S. 900 W.
A man entered the business, brandished a weapon, and demanded money. The employee complied, and the suspect fled on foot northbound. The suspect was described as a male white adult, approximately 40 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a medium build. He wore a black ski mask over his face, a black hooded sweatshirt with a grey shirt underneath, gloves, and blue jeans.
866 W. South Temple
While working a shift at the above address, a valet reported that a man attempted to rob him. The victim said he was approached by a suspect who brandished a weapon and demanded money. The victim refused and was able to scare the suspect away. The suspect was described as a male white adult, 50 years old, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, and wearing a blue and white jacket, dirty jeans, and a red beanie.
