A 28-year-old male reported that he was approached by a man who wanted to borrow his cell phone. Upon giving up the phone the suspect refused to give it back, brandishing a box cutter knife before fleeing.
268 W. 400 S.
A 35-year-old male reported a similar robbery and suspect description as noted above. Officers were able to locate the suspect hiding inside of a business in the area. Robert Bergener, (1/14/87) was booked on aggravated robbery, concealed weapon, assault on police officer, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
