2:04 p.m. Stabbing 210 S. Rio Grande St.
The victim states he was arguing with his girlfriend when an unknown suspect approached him and stabbed him in the face. The suspect is described as a skinny white male adult. The victim was transported to a local hospital in serious condition with two lacerations to his face.
6:35 p.m. Attempted Sex Assault of a Child Area of 800 S. Park St.
A five-year-old female was playing in front of her home when a white male approached her and asked to touch her inappropriately. After grabbing the victim’s hair and pulling her toward a fence separating the two of them, the suspect let go and fled. The victim went inside and told her grandmother. Officers checked the area without finding the suspect. Neighbors were contacted but none of them observed the suspect. Suspect description: male, white, thin, dark rings around the eyes, and wearing a blue shirt.
