A loss prevention agent who works for Macy’s department store suspected a male of stealing several cheap watches from the store. He waited until the male suspect exited the store and confronted him outside. The suspect pulled out a Leatherman tool with a blade exposed and lunged at the victim. The victim backed away and followed the suspect as he left the area. The victim lost the suspect in the area of the Gateway Mall. Officers in the area received a call of a possible theft/robbery of a long board involving the same suspect. The suspect made away with the long-board, yet he crashed on it and face planted in the middle of 200 South. The long-board was snapped in two and the suspect managed to pick himself and run away. The suspect was described as being a male white adult, 25-30, 5’10, skinny build, wearing a baby blue dress shirt, dark jeans (one pant leg rolled up) and black and white sneakers.
