1692 W. North Temple
A man entered the 7-11, brandished a weapon and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect fled the store, running northbound. The suspect was described as a white male adult, 5 feet 7 inches, 150 pounds, brown pants, black shoes, and a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood over his head. No one was injured.
Hit & run accident
700 E. 800 S.
A car with two occupants was hit from behind by a pickup truck with U-Haul logo while southbound along 700 East at 800 South. The pickup truck continued on after the first collision, striking a parked unoccupied pickup and sending both vehicles into the front yard of a home on the southwest corner of the intersection. The suspect driver of the first pickup fled westbound on foot after the accident. He is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150 pounds, wearing a black hooded jacket and black gloves. The driver and passenger of the first vehicle were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
