Attempted Strong Arm Robbery
1345 S. West Temple

Victim was walking her bike southbound on West Temple at approximately 1345 South when she was knocked to the ground by the suspect.  While she was on the ground the suspect struck her in the face and attempted to take her bike.  The victim fought back and was able to pull the bike away from the male. Suspect described as a MWA, medium build, approximately 40 years old, 5’6′, wearing a green shirt and a dirty brown coat.  Suspect last seen running southbound on foot.  Victim had visible injuries to her arms and face.

Child neglect / protective custody

Officers responded to a report of child neglect in the above listed area. An eleven year old was left responsible for twin two year olds. Upon arrival, officers found the children without adult supervision. Upon further inspection, the living conditions were found to be dangerous to the children’s wellbeing and health. Due to the age of the children and immediate need for care the children were taken into protective custody. DCFS responded for transport of the children to the Christmas Box house. Neglect charges will be screened.
