Shots Fired-Aggravated Assault
2437 S. 600 E.
Two neighbors got into a confrontation during which one of the men produced a handgun and fired it toward the other. Officers responded, took the shooter into custody, and seized the weapon involved. Officers booked Jody Christensen (7/8/59) for aggravated assault.
1000 W. North Temple St.
After an officer observed two bicyclists run a red light in the area of 900 West and North Temple Street, he attempted to stop them. The male suspect pulled over but the female cyclist fled on her bike. The officer pursued and took the woman into custody. Officers booked Sabrina Lopez (7/5/91) into jail for fleeing, possession of methamphetamine, warrants and the red light violation. The male suspect is outstanding.
