8:21 a.m.
Fleeing (Felony warrants)
210 W. 500 S.

An officer stopped a bicyclist for a traffic violation. The man provided false ID information and then fled from the officer. The officer caught up and tried to take the suspect into custody. The man was combative and fought the officer. Brian Bottoms ((1/14/81) was arrested and booked on several charges, including fleeing, possession of methamphetamine, and felony arrest warrants.

Fleeing (parole fugitive)
235 S. Rio Grande St.

An officer stopped a pedestrian near the shelter. He provided false ID information and fled. While taking the man into custody, officers and the man collided with and shattered the glass of the entrance door to the Rio Grande Depot. Kevin Flores (7/17/92) was transported to the hospital for a laceration to his hand from the broken glass and then booked as a parole fugitive and other charges. An officer was also injured and transported to another local hospital for treatment of a laceration to his hand.

916 W. North Temple

Officers were called about reports that a man with a bandana over his face was bothering customers at a fast-food restaurant at this location. Upon contact with officers, the man fled. As they caught up to him, he resisted arrest and was combative. Arnoldo Corrales-Vasquez (01/01/93) was booked on several charges, including possession of methamphetamine.
