Auto-pedestrian traffic accident

It was reported that a 14-year-old girl was crossing 400 South with a friend when she was struck by a west bound vehicle. The driver of the vehicle says he did not see the girl until it was too late to stop. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Accident investigators will assume the investigation.
