A man entered the FANZZ store at Gateway Mall and began concealing clothing under his coat and exited the store. The clerk followed and confronted the theft suspect who turned and bit the clerk on the forearm. The suspect also threatened the clerk with a pair of pliers and then fled towards the homeless shelter. The clerk was treated by medical personnel on scene. Investigators are reviewing security videotape.
