Robbery with a gun
867 N. Maple Tree Ct.
While in the parking lot of the apartment complex, a man was approached by two male suspects. One suspect brandished a firearm, and took the victim’s wallet and phone while the other suspect rummaged through the victim’s car. Police later located the suspects in a room at the Motel 6 and took them into custody. Police then served a search warrant on the motel room, and located the stolen property and a firearm. Police booked the following people into jail: Cameron Ponali (5/13/96) for aggravated robbery; Cortes Quarles (7/20/93) for aggravated robbery, possession of marijuana, and criminal trespass; and Cameo Lee (1/6/92) for possession of stolen property and a warrant.
311 S. State St. (Brighton Bank)
A man entered the Brighton Bank, insinuated he had a gun and demanded money from a teller. The teller complied and the suspect was last seen running north on State Street. The suspect is described as a white male adult, 6 feet 1 inches tall, 180 lbs, and was wearing a black sweatshirt with yellow stitching, sunglasses and bandana.
