Roof then brandished a gun and demanded the victim’s wallet and laptop. The two ended up in a scuffle, and the victim yelled for help. One neighbor responded to aid the victim and pulled Roof from the victim and was able to subdue Roof while another neighbor called police. The neighbors held Roof until officers arrived.
