The two victims decided to come downtown to try and purchase drugs. They located a male and asked if he could get them the drugs they desired. The suspect said he could and got into the backseat of their vehicle. The trio drove to a secluded parking lot to make the deal. The victims handed over $60.00 to the suspect. The suspect promptly removed a can of pepper spray and deployed the contents into victim’s faces. The suspect exited the vehicle and fled north through the parking lot on foot. Officers received a tip that the suspect was staying in a nearby motel. They located the suspect Cameron Jex (23) in a room and took him to jail on two counts of Robbery. Only $40.00 was recovered.
