SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department invites media representatives to observe SWAT School training this coming Sunday, April 26, from 6:15-7:45 a.m.
Known for its rigor and intensity, the Department’s SWAT School will host multiple candidates from law enforcement agencies throughout the Salt Lake Valley. From 6:15-7:45 a.m. this Sunday, candidates will navigate a complex obstacle course, requiring physical stamina, leadership and teamwork. A subject matter expert will be on hand to explain the training.

The SWAT obstacle course is near the Utah State Prison at approximately 14000 South on the west frontage road of Interstate 15. Take the 14300 South exit off I-15, turn west and then an immediate right on Pony Express Road (frontage road north). The obstacle course is approximately a quarter mile on the left (west) side of the road.
