A call came in about a juvenile who had a pickup order being at Walmart. Police found the 17-year-old male and tried to take him into custody. The juvenile initially fled, then resisted and became combative, punching officers. Both a baton and taser were ineffective. It took several officers to gain control and get him into custody. He was medially cleared at the scene by Fire Department personnel and taken to Detention. There the subject complained of shoulder pain so he was taken to the hospital, medically cleared again, and returned to Detention for the pick-up order, resisting and assault on a police officer. One officer received minor injuries from the altercation.
