Burglary in Progress
253 West 600 North
The victim found the suspect, Rilley Eccles 22, walking through her kitchen. The victim confronted Eccles and he then turned and fled out the rear door of the home. Officers arriving in the area observed the suspect walking through the vacant lot at 600 N 300 W. Upon seeing the officers the suspect fled on foot into the construction site at 500 North 300 West. A K9 Officer deployed his dog, K9 Nacho into the construction site and quickly located the suspect hiding in the building. The suspect was non-compliant and did not heed officer’s commands. The suspect received a bite to the left upper arm and was taken into custody after a brief struggle. After being seen at a hospital for his bites Eccles was taken to jail for burglary and class A fleeing.
