Two witnesses located a male body on the east bank of the Jordan River at the above location. The deceased has been identified as Anthony Paul Hernandez, 36. The Homicide Squad is investigating this case.
Vehicle Burglary Aggravated Assault

A vehicle owner heard some activity out by his parked truck. He looked out and saw someone with a light inside his truck. He went out to confront the person and encountered Ben Colvin, 37. A struggle between the two occurred during which Colvin produced and knife. The two fought over the knife as officers arrived. When Colvin saw police, he ceased resisting and was taken into custody without incident. Colvin was taken to jail for vehicle burglary and aggravated assault.
