A man entered the McDonald’s restaurant and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect fled west across State Street. He is described as approximately 23 years of age, darker colored skin, 5’6” tall, weighing 160 lbs. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt with hood, black pants, brown backpack, and gloves.
1700 S. 500 W.
An officer responded to a report of a man stripping wire from a utility box. William Young, 26, was booked for 2d degree felony criminal mischief. He had caused approximately $13,000 in damages.
1300 S. 400 E.
A 22-year-old man was bicycling east along 1300 S. when he attempted a left turn onto 400 E. A westbound car collided with him. The man was initially transported in critical condition yet has since been upgraded to stable. Investigation ongoing.
