Officers responded on a welfare check at the above address and discovered victim Edward Walker 57, deceased in his bedroom. Detectives are handling this as a homicide. At this time detectives are looking to talk with Jill Rae Montoya 34, as a person of interest in this case. She is known to frequent the area of 1300 South and State Street. Two men entered the 7-11, with one jumping the counter. The suspects demanded money from the register. They exited the store with cash and cigarettes. The suspects were described as white or Hispanic males, early 20’s, both wearing white bandanas over their faces. No weapon was seen. No one was injured.

Three people entered the 7-11. One of them brandished a weapon and demanded money. The clerk complied. The other two suspects tried and failed to open the beer cooler.  All then exited and fled north on foot. No one was injured. Suspect#1 is described as a Hispanic male, short black hair, blue bandana, black sleeveless T-shirt. Suspect #2 is described as an adult male, baseball cap, blue bandana, green shirt, khaki shorts. Suspect #3 is described as a female Hispanic adult, hair in a bun, red sweatshirt.
