7-year-old Ky-Mani Johnson and his 5-year-old sister Leili Johnson were reported missing by their father who had not seen them since about 11:30 a.m. Several patrol officers, detectives and volunteer corps responded to conduct a search. A search of the residence and immediate area proved negative. A Child Is Missing (ACIM) notification was activated due to the time frame involved. At 8:35 p.m. both juveniles were located in good condition in the area of 1500 W. 400 S. They had lost track of time and were unaware that police were looking for them.

The suspect handed the clerk a note demanding money. The clerk gave the suspect money who then left on foot in an unknown direction. Suspect is described as male, Caucasian in his 30’s, small dark goatee, Spanish accent, wearing a dark hoodie with a black straight bill ball cap underneath, blue levis, white shoes, sunglasses and gloves.
