517 S. 1100 E.
A victim tracked his stolen car via his iPhone still in the car to a parking lot at 517 South 1100 East. Officers responded and located Phillip Abeyta, 40, taking property from the victim’s vehicle and placing it into another stolen vehicle. Abeyta was taken into custody, and upon a search, officers recovered multiple packages of meth and heroin. Abeyta was booked into jail for 2 counts of possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of meth and heroin with intent to distribute and possession of burglary tools.
