1820 S. Main Street
Residents reported hearing several shots in the parking lot and seeing a group of people running to Main St. and entering into a white vehicle. The vehicle left in an unknown direction. A vehicle located in the parking lot had been struck 5 times and eight shell casings were found near that vehicle.
Aggravated Robbery – Attempt Car Jacking

An unidentified male was in the area of 250 S. State Street when he approached a vehicle with three occupants. He displayed two knifes demanding money. The occupants fled the vehicle as the suspect attempted to take the vehicle. The suspect was unable to operate the car and left with a purse that had been left behind. The suspect then stopped another vehicle in the area of 300 S. State Street. The driver of that vehicle sped off when the suspect confronted them. A witness to these incidents was following the suspect, the suspect threatened this witness. The suspect then entered a parking structure where he confronted another person. The suspect demanded money and keys to the car. A physical altercation took place and the victim suffered a cut to his hand. The suspect fled the area. Officers arrived in the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a red hoodie, black shorts, backward baseball cap and a scruffy beard.
