The victim claims he reached into his friend’s bag which contained a gun and accidentally shot himself in the leg. Victim claims the friend is still in possession of the firearm but would not provide his name or location stating he had warrants. Victim transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
Auto Pedestrian Collision
2100 S. 400 E.
A pickup driving Westbound on 2100 S. turned SB onto 400 E. The vehicle collided with three children and one adult in the crosswalk. All pedestrians were taken to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. Driver was cited for Failure to Yield to Pedestrians.
