Auto Pedestrian Collision
200 S. 500 W.
A 33 year old male driver was westbound on 200 South when he became distracted as he looked for something on the floor. His vehicle left the roadway at 500 West and impacted a 66 year old male victim. The victim was subsequently pinned against the Trax station walkway ramp. Victim was transported to the hospital in serious condition. The driver’s vehicle was impounded and the driver was cited for a suspended driver’s license, no insurance and unsafe lane travel.
