Impersonating an officer
1216 S. Wasatch Dr.
Officers were called to reports of a man impersonating an officer. It was reported that the suspect had a shirt with “POLICE” written on it, a radio and was using a vehicle that had police lights. The suspect reportedly confronted a group of teens and identified himself as an officer. While talking with witnesses an officer was made aware of a vehicle driving by that could be the suspect vehicle. The officer attempted to stop the suspect but he fled on foot. Officers and K-9s responded to search for the suspect. The suspect was located inside a hot tub full of cold water in only his shirt and underwear. Officers booked William Calhoun, 25, into jail on 2 counts of impersonating an officer and fleeing.
