Suspect entered a store, brandished a weapon and demanded money. The store clerk walked to the back of the business to call police and the suspect left empty handed. The suspect is described as a Hispanic adult 5’6″ tall, 130 lbs., wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black backpack. He may have fled east on 200 North and north on 800 West.

A landlord found a deceased female adult outside his vacant rental property. Homicide detectives responded and the medical examiner recovered the body of Amanda Quevedo, 30. Next of kin has been notified. Investigation ongoing.
