A pick-up truck driven by a 73-year-old male was heading north on 500 West when he failed to stop at the stop sign at 800 South. The truck collided with a Ford Expedition that was heading east. The 42-year-old female driver of the Expedition had her four children in the vehicle with her. The woman’s 9-year-old daughter was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported to the hospital in critical condition and was later upgraded. The mother and her other children received minor injuries. The male driver was cited for failure to stop. The female was cited because her child was not wearing a seat belt.
