Officers were dispatched to a fight in the area above. As officers arrived they spotted the suspect vehicle leaving the scene. A stop was initiated on the vehicle and while the officer was investigating the subjects the passenger fled. It was reported that the fleeing suspect was last seen stealing a UTA truck with a handgun. The second subject left on scene, Tony VALDEZ (32) was arrested for possession of a firearm and several outstanding warrants. The city truck was recovered in the afternoon in the area of 1300 W. Pacific Avenue and the suspect is still outstanding.
