I Street and 7th Ave
A 43-year-old female was walking south on I St and 7th Ave when she noticed two men following her. One of the men stepped in front her and grabbed her purse, causing her to fall. After a brief struggle the strap broke and the two men fled. The suspect who grabbed and fled with the purse is described as a black male adult in his 20”s, 6’1” tall with Afro style hair and white shoes. There is no description of the other suspect. The victim sustained a cut to her forehead and scraped knuckles.
Recovered stolen vehicle
2200 E. 950 S.
An officer spotted a stolen vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Officers found stolen property inside the vehicle that turned out to be from car burglaries in Park City, as well as a stolen firearm. James Knight, 22, was booked for possession of the stolen vehicle and no driver license. James Christensen, 19, was booked for possession of stolen property and alcohol by a minor. A 17-year-old male juvenile was taken to Detention for possession of the stolen firearm.
