Traffic Accident Injuries
755 S. Redwood Rd.

A vehicle driven by a 17 year old along with a passenger were traveling South on Redwood Road. The vehicle crossed the northbound lanes of travel and impacted a 4 feet high chain link fence. The vehicle continued traveling approximately 100 feet while taking out fencing. The one inch diameter top metal rail impaled the driver’s chest and continued through the vehicle stopping at the left rear tail light, pinning the driver inside. The driver was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.

Vehicle Collision with House
700 N. Riverside Dr.

Bryan Liles 29, was driving at a high rate of speed westbound on 700 N. and lost control at Riverside Dr. colliding with the house at 1612 W. 700 N. The collision caused a natural gas leak by breaking off the gas meter.  The Fire department was able to shut off the gas to the house. Liles was taken to jail for traffic charges and possession of a firearm by a restricted person.

Suspicious Person – Taser Deployment
1900 N. Corral Lane

A call came in stating a person that lives in the area of 1900 N. Corral lane was outside yelling and running around hysterically and may be suffering from a psychotic episode. Arriving officers attempted to talk with the individual. The subject began advancing on officers in an aggressive manner. Officers deployed a Taser to safely take him into custody. He was transported to a local hospital for mental evaluation.
