A 26-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were crossing the street in a marked cross walk when a vehicle turned west onto 800 South from 700 East and struck the man in the leg. The vehicle fled the scene. The man was transported in serious condition. The hit & run vehicle was described as a dark 4-door sedan.

Officers were called on a disturbance. A man was outside, no shirt, possibly intoxicated, yelling in the street. Officers attempted to communicate/reason with him. He became combative, picking up an automobile tire and began swinging it, moving toward an officer while ignoring commands to drop the tire. He was tazed and taken safely into custody. Moses Leo, 34, was booked on several charges including public intoxication and disturbing the peace.
