576 East 400 South
Victims stated that the suspect entered the business holding a black handgun and demanded the money from the cash register. The clerk handed over the money to the suspect who fled the business and was last seen southbound on foot. The suspect is described as a male Hispanic adult in his 40s, average height and heavy build, wearing a camouflage baseball hat, orange shirt and blue jeans.
Injury Traffic Incident
600 W. North Temple St.
A driver was traveling on North Temple when they sideswiped a vehicle that was stopped at 600 W. The vehicle continued traveling Westbound up onto the sidewalk taking out vegetation, trees and a light pole. The vehicle came to a stop after striking a concrete support pillar under I-15. The vehicle caught fire. Several citizens raced to the aide of the driver, removing him from the vehicle and fighting the fire with an extinguisher. The driver was taken to a local hospital.
