6:36 a.m.
800 N. Redwood Rd.

A man driving by the area heard a gunshot and was flagged down by a male. The male victim, 37, had been shot in the calf. The victim was taken to a nearby gas station where he called police. The victim was only able to describe the suspects as five to seven Hispanics. A spent casing was found in the area. Investigation ongoing.

10:43 a.m.
376 E. 400 S.

A male entered the bank and gave the teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the suspect left with the cash. The suspect is described as a male white adult, in his 20’s, with a gauged ear, an Australian accent, wearing a green jacket, tan pants, white shoes and a red hat.

10:15 p.m.
Shots fired at officers
1071 W. Wenco Dr.

Officers were at the above location investigating a man with a gun call when a black, shiny car drove south bound on Riverside Drive and opened fire towards the officers and the individuals they were talking with. No individuals were hit. Five shell casings were found on Riverside Dr. Information on the suspect led to an apartment in West Valley. The vehicle was located at the apartment along with other physical evidence. Jose Fonseca, 27, was taken into custody and taken directly back to prison for violating his parole. New charges are being screened.

1:43 a.m.
Shots fired
461 N. Grant St.

A vehicle drove by and shot a house and a vehicle parked in the driveway numerous times. Eight shell casings were found in the street. A possible suspect vehicle described as a maroon 4 door was seen leaving the area. Investigation is still ongoing.
