Officers responded to an altercation near the shelter. When officers attempted to arrest the involved female her husband interfered and began to fight with officers. Taser and OC were both deployed and the male was taken into custody. Officers booked Matthew Boehm, 49, for assault on a police officer. Caron Bruso, 38, was booked for aggravated assault.

Officers responded to the park on an unrelated call. An officer was riding his bike past two individuals with a large dog when one of the males commanded the dog to attack. The dog lunged at the officer, nearly biting him, but was restrained by a leash. When the officer attempted to talk with the individuals the dog was allowed to attack the officer and bite the officer on the left forearm. Officers booked both Brendon Aceves, 19, and Edgar Garcia, 18, into jail for aggravated assault on a police officer. The dog was taken by Animal Control.
